Winweb – Food Software Specialists
Successful in meat industry, food industry and wholesale

Customer-oriented and industry-specialized

The success and satisfaction of our customers are at the forefront of everything we do. For us, this is not an empty phrase, but a matter close to our hearts. More than 200 customers appreciate this and have been served by Winweb for years. We see ourselves as a software partner at eye level and are able to react quickly and efficiently even to unusual customer requirements. As a result, our highly specialized team has risen to become one of the technological leaders in the industry.

Winweb has been developing industry-specific ERP software for companies in the food industry and wholesale for over 20 years. Since its founding in 1997, the focus has been on the meat industry. This has resulted in a deep understanding of business management processes throughout the food industry. The customized ERP system helps make buying and selling transparent and as easy as possible.

At Winweb, they know how a recipe is calculated and how complex warehousing is. Batch tracking, slaughtering and cutting are included in the scalable program, as are the store and checkout system and the connection to C&C stores.

Two entrepreneurs from two generations

Winweb Informationstechnologie GmbH is an owner-managed family business. This independence allows Winweb to act entrepreneurially with a focus on sustainable success, healthy growth and investment in high quality products. For our customers this independence means planning security for the future. At the helm of Winweb are two entrepreneurs from two generations: Founder and Managing Director Willi von Berg and his son Name Berg, responsible Board Member for Finance, Sales and Marketing.

Of course, Winweb also knows the legal requirements and implements them in the system. The document management system stores required documents in a document-compliant manner and integrated interfaces transfer data to Intrastat and platforms such as DATEV and GS1 fTRACE. winweb-food is a complete system and enables cross-module evaluations of a complex nature at the touch of a button. „We develop our software completely ourselves, which guarantees us and our customers a high degree of flexibility,“ explains Managing Director Willi von Berg.

Founder and Managing Director and the next generation

In 1997, Willi von Berg, a graduate in business administration, founds Winweb Informationstechnologie GmbH and begins to distribute the software he developed, winweb-food. These are not exactly ‚garage times‘, there are bright offices in the own house, but one starts small with two more programmers.

Winweb’s steady growth means that today nearly 50 employees, mostly programmers, consultants and support staff, take care of more than 200 customers.

The winweb-food product is the center of the company and its development is the matter of heart of the managing director.

In this spirit, the new generation will also lead the company into the future.

Arne von Berg graduated in business informatics from the University of Münster. After graduating with a Master of Science degree, he is perfectly prepared for the challenges of a technical and business nature at Winweb and has been in charge of programming since 2019.

With the decidedly young team of programmers, he uses agile methods to tackle the complex tasks. The winweb-food program will thus be developed closely to the latest standards and equipped for the future.
